Sai

The Sai was actually used in Okinawa. the Sai was used by domestic police and the methods were developed in 1668. The Sai has a long blade and pointed hand guards. However, the “blade” is not really sharp. The Sai is made from metal and the handle is wrapped in leather to provide grip.
